Xian Saint 0
yes...thats how its spelled...recently read about it in PC Gamer...sorry if this has already been discussed...but wow...this game seems very promising... Anyone have details about it... Heres the site... http://soldner.jowood.com/ I don't know...the article talked about "if you can see it...you can destroy it" - talking about blowing houses up wall by wall...damage carry over between multiplayer games...i.e. the level will keep the damage sustained from previous rounds... Overall, sounds awesome... Thoughts?

firefly2442 0
Yep, looks awesome! The whole damage system sounds cool. Plus the graphics and the whole idea of a bunch of soldiers moving through a village sounds pretty impressive.
TRC 0
Anybody been to this site--http://soldner.jowood.com. A very interesting looking pc game in production. Allows parachuting into a situation, customizable actors, skins aren't static, from headwear, to weapons to faces, even tats if you want them. Has new damage system in which just about everything is destructable, including craters left in ground. System requirements aren't that high. For MP types, allows up to 32 in a game, 4 times that on fast servers (I'm assuming players would need dsl/or cable for that). GR dev team might want to take a peek at what can be done with an engine. Will be interesting to see how final product appears.
Stinger 0
Yeah, somewhere in the General Off Topic there is a thread on it. It looks cool as heck!
TRC 0
I like how it's a true free fall on the jump. You can pull arms in to go fast, put them out to slow yourself, you manually pull the ripcord, use direction keys to guide yourself, and you have to slow yourself up before landing or recieve damage. Very impressive sounding.
supasniper 0
also the damage model looks sooooooo cool cos if you can see it you can blow it up!
magnumkp 0
And if you blew it up in the previous MP game, it will stay blown up in the next one! Sweet mother of God those game makers are getting clever. They want my money. I shall let them have my money in return for their goods. Everything is okay in my head. Thanking you.
