The Sticky Patch thread has been removed from the UBI Forums, we are still awating a official response as to whether we are getting a patch or not.

So I ask the question here are we going to see a patch to fix up GRAW2?

Thanks

Thank you for bringing this up. I brought it up in the Ubi forums and we have not seen a response. Maybe someone here has the connections to help get us an answer.

Well as Serellan reads these posts I was hoping he would say something, anything?

My perception from being on these boards for the past few years is that the devs would like to share information with us, but over time Ubi has tightened that up. I can almost picture the stern memo that was distributed.

Maybe I am wrong, but I know there used to be a lot more communications from devs on the forums in the past.

Ubi runs a very tight lipped ship. They are very controlling with information. Generally they speak loudest with what they don't comment on. In my opinion they are too controlling and that is wrong-headed thinking, driving long time customers away. If I worked for Ubi I would be frustrated by that policy, but in the end, those employees want to keep their jobs, I am sure.

Just to let everyone know here is a list of issues the dev team is currenlty looking into.

- Nowhere maps issues

- Player dropping issues

- Lag

- Missing game types

Remember some bugs/issues take longer to fix than others. So if we can ask that you be patient, then it will make things move along a bit faster Also this is not a confirmed list of whats to come in the next patch, it's just a quick update to let you know that we are looking into the problems and will hopefully provide an answer soon.

some guy found the deleted sticky thread, No one owned up to deleting it, Was it a mistake? or covering up a non release of a patch?

You mean the covering up of a non-release of a non-patch... Or the covering up of a no longer "looking into problems."

A UBI meeting held somewhere?

man 1, "right guys lets not waste the man power on a patch on a game thats not doing well. So simply delete the thread, not many will notice its gone and it will be all forgotton about",

man 2, "what happens if people notice?

man 1, "Simply it was a mistake" OPPS. that should hold eveyone off for a while"

woman, I got a idea for a new game! lets call it UBI SIN, its a little like Sim city but instead of keeping everyone happy, we actually create as many problems as we can.

While it does look dodgy, i cant believe that an UBI employee would willingily delete a thread so as to cover up a promise of a patch. Nobody could be that stupid as to think that we would forget about the patch just because they deleted a thread.

You know, you understand the decision not to say alot on forums, being tight-lipped, as mentioned. Threads will always degenerate etc, and mistakes will slip out. But, no information on the patch, which they said they were working on, for 3 months now? The only time any information comes out it seems , its a raid on your wallet. That just leaves a very sour taste.

Our group has 4 copies of the game now, to play co-op, and we are STILL holding off, hoping for an x-axis aiming fix, as some simply refuse to play it like it is. Its something that may not be fixed, but either way, knowing would be nice, we can move on/sell on then. Personally I'd like to see community updates not on forums, but rather something like Bungie does, or EA with BF, weekly or monthly site news, anything so we arn't festering.

Why can't the thread be stickied again if it was a accident? UBI could squash any conspiracy theory with a simple post. they must be aware of peoples concerns but add fuel to the fire by not making a statement. then weeks later we will get a flipant remark oh sorry guys it was a accident joe pressed the wrong button.

my personal view is its defo dodgy,

For me, Ubi has burned a lot of good will with the way they poorly communicate with the community, so I don't give them the benefit of the doubt on anything. I am not blaming any individuals that I have seen posting on forums, I think it is a corporate philosophy they are working under.

I second the need for a fix on the X-Axis aiming. That is a terrible flaw in my opinion.

UBI communicate pretty well when they want you to buy something, What makes me laugh is they want you to sign up with them and use the forums but they dont give a lot away. its all flashy GFX, teasers, etc that and once you purchase the item you are left in the dark.

Many people who brought GRAW2 will have moved on to other titles by now and they dont careless if theres a patch or not, its people like us that want to play the game and want to see some fixs feel we are overlooked and not worth the trouble.

Well its another new day and was hoping to at least see some news on the " non patch" .

I get a bad taste in my mouth when I read other threads here and elsewhere when I read teaser info on new titles.

Why should we all get excited about these when just after launch bugs/glitches what ever you want to call them get found and excatly the same thing happens again.

I have no consumer confidence in UBI and havent in a long time, The masses will buy their games and put them down and move on to another title, so UBI gets the fast buck. The egg heads at the top have no idea how to run things when it comes to customer service or the community.

I don't think I will support UBI anymore, I have stumped up the cash for the games and DLC maps etc without complaint and would have no problem in buying their stuff, if it werent for the fact that threads like this happen.

No one has the balls to respond to the questions asked in the Offical UBI forums. Will UBI miss me? nah no one really cares its all suits and money.
