Evilducky
Use the silences M468. Thats a real good rifle. I know its a 6.8 calaber rifle, but its still awesome. Also the scar comes silenced as well.
Raw Kryptonite
I stopped worrying about the silenced rifles, unless worried about muzzle flash. The silenced rifles can still be heard at a long distance, and with a surround sound set up, you can pinpoint the shooters direction even better than the on-screen flashes for the loud rifles. That's what I count on more than the flashes, so I assume others do too. Not much point to silenced on a well lit map. For SP, I use the silenced MP5 a good bit. The scoping in is so slow in SP that it's pretty annoying to use. I just left trigger it and use the MP5 a lot. I'm gonna have to disagree with you...100% Having a non-suppressed weapon means using tracers; Tracers make it WAY too easy for opfor to pinpoint your position. Also, there is much less recoil on suppressed weapons when going full auto. I've tried many, many times to like weapons besides the suppressed M468.....Not happening. BS PALADIN
Why do we have tracers anway. You would use tracers in real life unless you were using a M60 or such. The only time tracers are really used are for the last 2-3 rounds in a mag so the operator knows when to change the clip. Tracers every 3 rounds is pointless and unrealistic. You should use whatever you have confidence in, of course. For me, I'm playing better without them. The silenced rifles don't seem to have the range oftentimes too, which was more of a handicap for me than the tracers/sound of the regular rifles. Ick
Here are my thoughts on suppressors in GRAW: 1. Most weapons are 100% hit probability within the first 50 meters of engagement. Since most engagements are within that range....generally accuracy is waaaaaay over-rated. Therefore an extra slice of accuracy from a suppressor is unimportant. 2. Most of the guys I play against are good enough that when you fire a suppressor....they can figure out where you are at based on the sound alone....let alone from intuition and other factors. Therefore suppressors don't really add much in the way of concealment. 3. the reduction in stopping power, however, is a SIGNIFICANT downside to the suppressor. Since #3 has such a HUGE game impact....and #1 and #2 are largely insignificant benefits.....no suppressor usage for ick. Now that I think about it....suppressors are good to use against Raw. Since he generally has no clue what is going on and rarely gets a shot off when under fire...I suppose I would use a suppressor against a team of Raw Kryptonite's. fugazze1
I usually use silenced. Im not that good at anything else, mabe sniper rifles. But it's easy for me to snipe ppl with my rifle.

Of course I don't get a shot off, you're running at light speed with that M107! Even though there are no names over the opposing teams' heads, you still hear your team say "Ick's coming from the east, in about C7, no C6, no 4...dammit that fugger's fast!" You just KNOW when it's him.
GQCamper
I use only suppressed rifles. The reason is not for my immediate enemy that I am shooting at but because his teammates might not hear the shots and therefor have no idea where I was when I shot him. I do agree that there seems to be a reduction of the stopping power, but for me that doesn't outway the stealth that I get. GQ
