Nutlink Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Just putting in names in the read me isn't good enough. You definitely need to get a hold of all the authors and ask for their permission. This was an issue with a previous mod several months ago, so if one of the authors throws a fit you'll be forced to take it down. Yet I'm perfectly aware that you never use other peoples work without explicit permission. And you always give credit where credit is due. I really can't figure out what you are. Are you very young and have not yet learned how grownups behave on respectable websites such as this one? Are you just ignorant? Or is it that you just don't give a hoot? (pardon the pun). I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I'm really puzzled as to exactly who and what you are. You can not modify and release/repackage someone else's work without their permission (which you should have asked for BEFORE starting any work). To not even record what mods/files you used is really shoddy and to package this without getting any of the permissions is completely pointless as if just one modder objects you will need to remove their stuff you need to go back to square one before you can even think of releasing that here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
