methz68 1
Ms has a nice little gift for the modders out there http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/05...urity-5-17.aspx Xbox LIVE security As you can imagine, we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to modded consoles connecting to LIVE. We're very serious about this, and if we detect you have a modded Xbox then you will not be able to connect to Xbox Live. If you see this screen and get Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D…that means your console has been banned. We'll continue to enforce this rule to ensure the integrity of the service and protect our partners and users. To the members of our community who play by the rules, thanks and we’ll see you on LIVE. the number of rooms has been cut down! just logged on (legit) and only 6 rooms? philkilla 0
When they say modded do they mean just simple upgrades (like fans and/or water cooling) or full on firmware upgrades and what-not (mods designed to make the game easier) 6 rooms you say? If this eliminates the majority of xbox lives players I would laugh my silly head off.
Hockeystick 0
Modifications that let you play downloaded games (warez games). There has been rumors that some people cheated in HALO 2 so MS didn't want that to happend again with HALO 3 (and other games) so they introduced this nifty feature. I think it's great to be honest
methz68 1
I agree, i'd really like to know the number of bans~? Flashing the DVD firmware or adding a mod chip is enough to get you a ban. although some seen to have escaped so far. Adding water cooling will viod the warrenty. philkilla 0
I agree with the modding ban. It's BS that others have yo mod just so they can win...really destroy's the replayability of a game as well as the fun.
Evilducky 34
Would a modifiction be (for the original xbox of course) replacing your own ###### because Microsoft screwed up in the first place? I had to replace my dvd drive myself because they said they wouldnt do that because nothing was wrong with it, and after I did that, my power supply died, and they wouldnt fix that either because I took my case apart...
