Can't really compare until GRAW2 is released???

Maybe someone could catch all 'official notes' from the developer and publisher. Though I guess those aren't really very specific.

It's not really a pro/con comparison situation.

GRAW2 is the sequel. It will definitely be the better game in most areas.

I hated GRAW 1. But the beta gave me a change of heart. Without breaking any NDA rules, I'd say that it is better than GRAW 1. But I'll leave the rest to judge if a demo should ever be released.

If you like GRAW 1 you will like GRAW 2 as it is the same game-- the details that have been added or changed are so minute that the gameplay feels the same.. If you didn' t like GRAW then GRAW 2 isn't the game for you.

judging from the beta, its more optimized and has few more weapons. thats about it...maybe a singleplayer beta will help judge it better. oh, the graw2 360 version looks a heck lot better lol

I disagree. However, the lighting in GRAW 2 360 version is definitely better.

I wouldn't say that. I hated GRAW 1. In my opinion, the beta is what GRAW should have been in the first place.

Not that I am trying to change your opinion about the game, as you are all entitled to your own.. but just remember this is only a beta and GRIN have purposefully released only a minor portion of the game. In other words.. this is not the final product.

This is A.W. a Product "game" Think and developed for Console , not for P.C. the efforts from this little company called GRIN, to "create" the P.C. version failed for a long shot. ----> again.

Just droped..... build another game, called diferent pls. no Ghost Recon.

You GRIN guys , have a couple of talented guys in the studio, UBISOFT will not give you the push you need, to the contrary .

But o well, what ever, maybe this post will never going to doit to forums, and if it does , same thing good luck with Aw full 2.

This product don't offer what is says = FUn, replayability , will be down fast , pretty fast , UBISOFT... , Black Foot Studios it's offering better options and Crytek !!.. it's coming strong and Excellent. no #1

This is easily explained. The 360 version uses dynamic lighting for everything as it has the hardware to do that. The PC version still uses lightmaps and such so people without the latest Core 2 Duo and top of the line GPU in SLI can play the game. This is not something that can be fixed on the PC version unless the hardware requirements are pushed up quite far. Makes you wonder what Crysis will require to run on dynamic lighting, don't it?

Putting Cuch's sentiment regarding this aside, it does bring up something I meant to ask any beta testers with a PhysX card...I know about some of the changes in :AW2 but from what remains of the effects, is it worth taking up a slot on the mobo with the PPU, even at its reduced price, for one program?.

That's it right there. I've never used one, but I've seen them in action in GRAW, and honestly I think it's a waste of money. If you want to and have the money for it, go ahead, but it really isn't worth it at this point.

Ehhh deferred rendering not is the "dynamic lighting" method , with multiple lights and the 360 engine render mode the" old " method , with low numbers of light ?

For those who like a HUD which seems to be cut from a fighter airplane, then 360 rules. Bur seriously can the pics be compared? The 360 pics really looks rather poor, or is 360 that poor compared with pc? The pc pics really looks good, I play GRAW1 on max settings but it does not equal the pics above from GRAW2.

Anyway, nice to see Cornholio putting some hilarious spin on the thread again.

While I have every confidence in BFS and things are looking good, I'm going to find it really funny when alot of people start complaining that whatever they produce isn't like the [Ghost Recon] in "x" and "y" aspects rather than accept it for what it is....
