Stinger 0
Today I finally got ahold of a good nice solid copy of Windows 2003 Server Enterprise addition. Its the most stable OS I've ever used by far. Only 1 problem, which was getting it to recognize my external Iomega HDD in My Computer but that was fixed in a couple seconds. Not much new to the GUI, it looks just like XP's classic theme. It carries a lot of the same features as XP does but not all. Not that most of you will be using it but heck I figured I would tell some. And then there's Longhorn, MS's new OS in the works. You can find screenshots of it just about everywhere these days. The installation was a breeze. I spent about 5 minutes at the beginning telling it where to install and a couple of other things and whoosh! it took care of all the rest in about 32 minutes. As for the interface, it may look super cool but IMO its just a pain in the butt. Maybe its that I just haven't gotten used to it yet but heck it was nothing more than a thorn in my side. You have to do a little but once its up its up and pretty solid. I hope MS fixes some of the kinks in it in the next 1 to 2 years but nevertheless its not the worst I've seen *COUGH* ANY LINUX DISTRO *COUGH*
