Giampi Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 I did!!! Right now I'm in Ubuntu 7.04 beta, I could resist and downloaded and installed the 64bit version on my brand new Turion X2 laptop! This version rocks! The first impact was how user friendly is to download the codecs. I clicked on a mp3 file (as you know Ubuntu is not bundled with mp3 codecs), totem started up, I was told that the codec doesn't exist, synaptic opened and, of course after the password, I downloaded the necessary codec. My friend is running it and he says it's great. I think I'll wait til the final release candidate on the 19th though. Only a few more days....
