Mother
I'm also curious about something else... Are you going to release that M16? That would be a great alternative for a DMR compared to the over the top, single-action M99. A semi-auto sniper weapon makes more sense in an urban environment. All you would need to do is have a flip-up sight up front and throw on the default sniper scope, and there you have it. Just another suggestion I have floating in my endless ideas for expanding this game. Brettzie, you do great work, and you have no obligation to do any more than you wish. Do not see yourself as letting me down, because I'm quite satisfied with your great M4!
EricJ
Actually a DMR really isn't necessary. I prefer the ACOG on the MR-C68 as a DMR. Regardless of weapon type, the zoom is great for urban ops. Though I can still plink good with an Aimpoint though
EricJ
Heck even his M4 with the ACOG is just the same. You'd get a good setup when he gets it squared away for the SCAR-L/H.
Mother
Come on, Eric, you know I'm just pushing for him to release that m16! lol. But I completely agree, the ACOG is more than enough for urban ops. I just like my SOCOM weapons. Brett, if you could spit out an m14, I would name one of my children after you Also Eric, don't you think a .50 cal sniper rifle is a little overkill for this kind of mission (the GRAW story)? I think something semi-auto with a smaller caliber would be more effective, especially when there is a guy around the corner 10 feet from you. That's why I think that something like an SR-15 is more fitting than the M99. (I'm sure this has already been discussed somewhere here). Evilducky
Mother... Grin made the M14 rifle for graw 2 so, you will be getting that if you decide to get it. http://resources.ubi.com/resources/65/6534...a_screen_01.jpg Edited April 12, 2007 by Evilducky

Well I pretty much said it in the tutorial on the weapons, as I feel that the Barrett for player use is more specialized, but you can accomplish most missions without it. Strong Point for the inital part, really makes a huge difference in getting past the .50 cals. I managed to get past it with a scoped SCAR-L, but that took too many rounds. Then again, Allen + Barrett is just what's needed. The most I do for him is give him more ammo
Mother
In my opinion, the Barret used primarily against human targets is outright inhumane. I want to say its against Geneva to even use it against a human. I guess SOF can bend the rules.
Brettzies
For Eric or anyone else that is combining xml files, I use this handy program that compares to files and tells you the differences. It helps in allowing you not to miss anything. http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_examdiff Try it out, its freeware. That is super useful! I'm using it to try and debug some problems with the current iteration of my m4 mod. Thanks for the tip.
Abusive Fire
Just passing through and seen your post. I totally agree, For most people playing GRAW with the Barrett they dont understand how heavy the rifle actually is. I am a police Sniper and I have one. Their is no possible way you are going to run around or even walk around and shoot the thing. I also have a winchester .308 that is set up perfectly, now that would be a great gun for this game. Just thought I would give my opinion. Ha ve a good one guys.
