Hockeystick
Well, there is one (or maybe a few, don't know really) mod that makes the Saxons playable. You can find it here.
WytchDokta
Thanks, but I mean earlier than that. The mod you linked covers the era of the Saxon king Harold. I'm looking to play as the Angles/Saxons/Jutes in the era of the Saxon king Hengist, commander of Saxon forces in Britain at the time, who was almost defeated on British soil by Vortigern, King of the Britons, shortly after [the Anglo-Saxon and Jute coalition] invaded. So we're looking at around 450AD upwards - not some 600 years later when Harold was around. Also, I forgot to ask: how do you acquire the units in the game? What I mean is, in a few medieval based RTS's, you are 'given' the units or you must select them at the start of the mission *cough* Warhammer: Mark of Chaos *cough* - there's no buildings to purchase them from. How is it in M2TW? Edited April 12, 2008 by WytchDokta
Sup
You buy your armies from cities in the turnbased mode, Civilization style. When armies meet, battles occur.
WytchDokta
When armies meet, battles occur. You know, I would never have guessed that if you hadn't told me.
