Raw Kryptonite
We're (at 2Old, mainly) going to get started playing on some clan match ladders. Right now we're on nxgamers.com but have only gotten to do 1 match. Would like to get into a site that would have more adult gamers like us, or if you're interested, you might put together a group to use on NX. We're a blind seige clan, at NX it's 5 vs 5 on this ladder. If you're on a site that you like, with a good number of adult gamer groups, please post it here. Or, consider signing up at NX if you'd be interested. http://www.nxgamers.com/ladder.asp?lid=30 (we're Fossil Force)

Raw Kryptonite
I posted this on ubi's GR forum too and got several saying that dccombat was a good one. I registered there, but the site is pretty crazy to navigate. Of course, it's my first time checking it out. I do see a few ladders, notably seige no booms, half booms, full booms and blind seige (no mention of booms). Do you just register a team and make challenges on any ladder you want, or do you sign up on 1 ladder in particular? Do half booms include grenades & claymores only? (I know claymores can be an issue with some) Room size? 5 on 5, or is it whatever you want to challenge with? Good number of teams on there, around 60 on each of those ladders. NX is a great site, very well layed out, but not much participation due to being new. If there were a lot of teams, that site would remain our home. Hey Raw K, The site has been going through some changes and the admins are always up for suggestions to make the navigation easier. Any tof the DC admins are friendly and helpfull. Some are DC Crash, DC Missfire, DC Cajun. When you scroll down the main page you will see a list of online users to the left. Most functions can be accessed along the top of the main page. Siege is broken into No Booms, Half Booms (clays and hand grenades), and Full Booms (all launchers). Blind siege is its own ladder and teams will call half, no, or full booms when challenging a team. Matches are usually 8 vs. 8 or 7 vs. 7 but teams can agree on less players if necessary. There is also a 4 vs. 4 ladder which we have been having some fun with as well. Most teams sign up on all ladders and will do one-for-ones on other settings. Challenges can be done through the website or over Live. They are also done through Instant Messenger or email. A lot of our matches are done on the fly and The Devils Advocates tend to play two to four matches daily (ranging in times from 9pm EST to 2am. We have players in all time zones and most teams can accomodate you. Check out TDA on the team list (again, left side of the main page) and hit up any of the captains with a FR on Live. Send a voice or text aong with it so they know you are a team on DC and want matches. Looking foward to seeing you on Live. And welcome to the community. Raw Kryptonite
We signed up on dccombat, but it looks like the season has started and they give you a game schedule to be in the league. Is that right? Does that mean all we can do are the unranked matches now? Just wish that site wasn't so difficult to navigate and find info. It's a nightmare for people new to it. Will keep an eye on Liveasault too. Nice looking site (not as cluttered as dc).

beonder13
We signed up on dccombat, but it looks like the season has started and they give you a game schedule to be in the league. Is that right? Does that mean all we can do are the unranked matches now? The season is for the league that is set up like a sport season. Two matches weekly at set times so that all the teams involved have the same number of matches played at the end of a season. They then have a "superbowl" of sorts. But all matches played are counted toward the non-league season and you are not limited two two a week. TDA tends to play at least two a night. Playoffs and season winners happen outside the league as well. A message in the DC forums or a PM to one of the admins will get you any info you need and they will definately like to hear your suggestions for the main page as well. I'm just a player at the site but enjoy the site immensely. DC Crash has been dooing a weekly DCpodcast and DC has recently become an affiliate of Netwavz Radio: http://www.netwavzradio.com In other news, DC has officially reached 6,000 members! YAY!
