problems with 3DS views

ok..this is really getting annoying. im not sure what i did or how i did it but everytime i rotate or move a viewport it goes from this:

to this:

can someone plz tell me how to get the weapon to show up when i change the view or rotate the gun? it was that way when i started with 3ds but about 3 weeks ago i did this and i dont know how to undo it. someone plz help. its really freakin annoying.

This is one of the reasons why you have to save very often when working with 3dsmax. I find that I have to fool with the perspective view till ti shows what I want. You might want to try to take one of the other views like front, top, or left and change one of them so that it doesnt show a wire view but a full textured view of the gun. Then grab the object in that window and then move the view to the angle that you want. That will automatically turn the window into another perspective view.

That sometimes helps.

@stalker... yeah i know man. ive had finals and crap. anytime you want i can send u the sound/gun/qob files anytime u want.

@maj.ken... nah man. if it was that simple i would of found it. all though A.D. was simple. i just didnt know what it did... lol i do now.
