Brettzies
I was able to get a custom graphic for ammo packs to show up. However, I haven't been able to have the other 556 ammo packs show up when I do this. Also, when you goto the backpack screen you get two listing for extra ammo. In an attempt to "solve" this, I created a custom unit for my ammo, much like there is a 556_saw ammo and ammopack. This fixes the problem of having two entries for ammopacks and brings back the graphics for all of the other weapons. Unfortunately, it then crashes when you select my custom "556_bp_m4v2" ammo. I've been reading some other threads and it looks like we cannot add any custom calibre types without overwriting something else, even if it's just to get the ammo pack to show up properly as a graphic. Not a big deal in this case since I'm not creating a new calibre technically, but I like to do things properly and it seems like the only way to change the image. The 556 ammopacks for all of the weapons except the saw are all in one diesel file. One way to "fix" the problem would be to have the ammopack_556.max file, so we could add our magazines to it and re-export the diesel file. So, to all GRiN people out there, any chance that we can get this file? Or is there another way to solve this problem without creating a new one? GRIN_Wolfsong
My guess is that you're stuck with the entires there are in the game. I doubt they will release anything else for GRAW1 now that GRAW2 is in it's final stages. As for how it's organized, I guess there is one entry per magazine type. So 5.56 in 30 round mag would be one entry and 5.56 in 200 round box would be one and so on. That's why it affects the other weapons as well. Brettzies
There are two diesel files(model files) for 556 ammo. One for the saw, and one for magazines. The one for magazines has the scarL, m8, m8-compact, and saw(not sure why it has that one in it). The one for the saw has the same thing but the saw flag for hidden is false. It's really strange, because in the other file, all of them are hidden. ie: These are just piles of magazines for the interface. It's really not that important, but would be nice to do. But I think you are right, they probably won't release any more max files for GRAW1, you never know though. I could clone mine and name each pile to coorespond to the above piles, but then you'd always get my pile of mags for each weapon. Better then nothing I suppose, the saw should still show though...hmm, maybe I'll try that.

This is just a visual thing. Grrr, so close yet so far.
bat21
Oh I think we can live with that. Keep up the good work. I have my beta test gloves on. I am ready to rumble.
