I just recently find this site and i'm impressed with the great number of mods available for download.... I'm interested in all the coop mods... but there are a lot of them that i don't know if coop is available... so if someone have played a mod in coop mode... please report here for me to try... thanks in advance .... and sorry for bad english... i forgot to say... i'm searching for campaig or mission mods.... Toniezz 0 Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 My favorite 'Unofficial Expansion Packs' are CENTCOM, Year Of The Monkey (YOTM), Frostbite v1.3 and War Of Infamy (WOI). COOP multiplayer wise the Alpha Squad mod, DTF Core mod and Sum Of All Fear (SOAF) bring some new weapons, missions and maps to the table. But indeed too much to choose from Have fun! Hammer 75 Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 my pick would be "Year Of The Monkey" but its not for every one Its a complete conversion to a seals team operating in Vietnam. The maps are excelent and the lighting and atmospher really draw you into the game, to the point were you are straining to hear ever little sound from a russlle of leaves to a snap of a twig in case its an enemy gook The down side is, Its authentic eg: no optics on your weapons except the sniper rifle and no silencers appart from a silenced pistol. All the weapons are the ones used in Vietnam. The AI have also been "tweeked" they respond differently than they do in GR, There more like real gooks lol they will hide in the grass/bushes and a few other places untill you have passed by then they will tap you on the back with a lead finger lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Year of the Monkey, Frostbite, and CENTCOM will provide three very different modes of play. Although I must say that a few of the Frostbite missions are not very well suited for coop play, but I am sure you will quickly figure out which ones work well and which do not. The Alpha Squad Mod (a personal favorite for obvious reasons) is a great way to turn up the tactical challenge associated with just about any mission pack -- it is very much tuned to encourage/force you to think about making smart tactical moves in order to achieve your objectives.
