There's excellent photos throughout that provide a great set of raw materials for modding. I also seem to recall some on www4.aixgaming.com/opend/Contemporary_Military_Photos but I'm at work at the moment so can't really check. If I'm wrong at least there's some good (albeit occasionally posed) shots there. You should be able to lift the colours and textures from some of these places but you'll still need to do some work.
