Dannik 43
I think the issue is with: attached to Intel® 82810 Graphics Controller RSDirect3DRenderer::BuildDeviceList: No windowing adapters found "No windowing adapters found" sounds like your onboard Intel video chip needs drivers installed. It's possible that the ones you were using before were not SP2 compatible, or were somehow altered during the SP2 installation.

Dannik 43
It could be DirectX. It could be a lack of an installed monitor driver. You could try downloading and installing the latest DirectX build for XP, though before that, I'd suggest running "dxdiag" from the command promt, to see if it identifies any errors. Dannik 43
What's the make/model of monitor, to the best of your knowledge?
richmondskin 0
thanks dannik. its a proview 786n made in may of 02. im thinking this monitor is enumerated because it worked just fine with xp sp 1 then once i updated to sp2 i started having problems with gr running, media player running and winamp until i updated winmap to the current version. i have been able to create shortcuts on the desktop even though they dont work. i am able to browse the pc and see that all of my mods are still on the hd, i just ahve no way right now of accessing them. thanks for the help! Dannik 43
It's not much, but still better than nothing: Proview 786 driver download.
