Installing this MSI board was fun.... some reasons memory had a bad seat was only problem I had.

So far its pretty good runs gtr2 maxed out no problems at all.

Splinter Cell Double Agent SP demo ran fine @ 1280x960 with only a few slowdowns im guessing around 25-30fps. Ran around 40-45 most of the time.

Now I have extra parts laying around.

AMD64 3500+

AMD64 3700+

BFG 7800GS OC

PNY 6800GT

2x512mb Corsair DDR400

DVD-Rom / CD-r

Asus A8v Deluxe

Heatsincs

Case....

Antec 400watt

2 40gb IDE Hard drives

hmmm.....

need some thermal compound and an A drive. :shifty:

So how do you like that MSI board? I thought about adding that to my upgrade list.

I suppose that supports one single core cpu's? IS that a 939 socket?

Thanks for your thoughts about the board.

@ death dealer, Socket 939. It supports AMD64 X2 as well. Never been a big fan of MSI myself. But it was the only thing local for a good price with a decent set of features. No problems with it yet.

If I had the choice locally I would of probably gone with a DFI, ABIT, or ASUS board.

@WK, yes it is.
