Ironfist 0
I am really annoyed at this, not sure if this is a problem that has any solution other than buying the game again...well here goes... I originally got Ghost Recon a long time ago ya see. I played around with singeplayer for a little, got kinda bored of it and then stuck the cd away in the garage (oh the shame!) but never actually uninstalled it. Then a short while back, I was in a bored mood when I decided to play GR for the fun of it. Of course, I immediately got hooked on it At around this time also, I had had a major system messup and had to reinstall Windows (98SE). So I get all fired up about GR, play a bit of singleplayer, then try multiplayer. I soon realise that I never patched GR. So I hop to it and download the 1.3 patch and the 1.3>1.4 patch and try and install them. But lo and behold! The installer file cannot detect that GR is installed (I've had problems exactly like these before so I know its because the Windows registry was wiped when I had to reinstall it). AND, to make matters worse, when I went to rummage through the garage for the GR cd, I realised to my great concern that, not only had it been moved, but after asking my dad, I found out that a whole heap of junk had been trashed the week befor, and the cd + box + manual must have been among it! This is a last resort (short of buying the game again - something I'm not sure I could afford at the moment), but is there anyway of finding out what registry entries GR creates so that I can run the patch installer and therefore play multiplayer? Singleplayer just isnt enough Thanks all

WOLFAnubis 0
if you have to buy the game again, the 2 mission packs are included with it. And its the same price that your originally paid for it when GR was new. Just something to liook for if you are buying it again.
WhiteKnight77 1
Did you install the 1.2.5.0 or 1.2.10.0 patches? The 1.3.5.0 patch is looking for the second patch I listed before it will run.
