Colin
"We cannot garantee that GRAW 1 will work on Vista. This product is not supported on all windows vista versions." Just in case you were thinking of asking Ubisoft. I can confirm it does run, with crashes prior to or at the end of game start. So in other words it works well some times but definatly not all the time. I am wonder if GRAW 2 will be supported on Vista.??
Eagle_Eye
Does GRAW2 not use DirectX10, if so, VISTA only, and so far nVidia GeForce GTX/GTS 8800 only.
ERIXX
Vista 64 bits Geforce drivers beta 100.xx GR1 I had to move some grafic options until i got a good quality, some sttings had artifacts in the sky. Now perfect, but supersmooth. As for DX10, we will not need a new grafic card, we will simply miss some whatever subtle feature.
Ghost9
As for DX10, we will not need a new grafic card, we will simply miss some whatever subtle feature. if a game is DX10 only, you will need a video card that can do dx10 and currently the only card on the market capable of doing that is th 8800. I highly doubt any games for quite some time will be dx10 only. The majority will support both dx9 and dx10, in which case you would be correct in that you won't need a new vid card but you will miss some graphical features. It appears the main feature you would notice is a difference in lighting.

Kiwi Viper
well for those that dont have a dx10 capable card dont panic for now but maybe with GRAW 2 guess we wont till we see it. having a fast cpu does help tho i went from a p4 2.8 with a 6600gt vid card to this amd x2 5k+ with 8800gts and the difference was amazing , the frame rates only went up by about 10-20 but the cpu an extra ram did help heaps. now ive gone from XP to Vista its 10 times moer stable and loads stuff faster but graw is very little different, the only major thing i use thats better is 3d studio ,frames rates are about the same as before (round 80-90)
