WhiteKnight77 1
I got a DVD player today and it came with PowerDVD by CyberLink and I get an error code with it that says to turn my TV out off. How do I do that on my GF3 Ti 500? I went and downloaded nVidia's NVDVD and I have problems with that too. Who uses what software to watch DVD's on their PC? How well do you like it and how easy is it to use?

Urban_Tiger 0
Hey WhiteKnight, I use one called WinDVD by Intervideo !! Never had any problems with it and it plays DVD's cool as. No setting up required as default and what preferences there are are fairly basic as you don't really need much lol!! It's pretty much laid out like most media players if you run it as a window although more like with video/CD Player controls kinda thing, obviously you can maximise it to full screen anyway ! Have you tried the standard Windows DVD Player too as an interim measure??......Win ME onwards has one but there's often not a shortcut for it in the Accesories or Entertainment Start Menu folders for example....... If you want to try that and there isn't a shorcut to it blah blah then use run "dvdplay.exe".......The .exe is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ if you want to hunt for it to make a shorcut too lol, (apologies if you knew that rofl, as said tho whenever I've installed Windows for hell knows how many times it's never put a shortcut to the Windows DVD Player anywhere and I found it when browsing one day long ago hehehe )! Hope that's of some use to ya m8 !
WhiteKnight77 1
I have a feeling it's hardware related, guess I need to take it back and buy one for the TV. The PC has the 5.2 speaker system. TV out or S-video out messing everything up.
Urban_Tiger 0
Hmmmmm, Obviously I have an Nvidia and that too has TV out but I've never had the same problem you seem to be getting. No idea what it could be TBH !!
