questions about playing coop campaign

Recommended Posts

me and my friends got into playing coop (campaign maps). while it is fun, there are some issues that make this tedious at times.

since we are all new to the game, there's a lot of dying going on and on longer missions we have to restart many times, to the point when it stops being fun to play.

is there a way to save/load in coop mode or use save points like you can in singleplayer?

if not, is there at least a way to increase a number of AI ghosts beyond the total limit of 4 so that we can keep additional AI ghosts as "reserve bodies"?

any other suggestions about playing coop campaign?

No.

No.

1. Everyone has access to the UAV (TAB), so make sure everyone scouts for tangos. The more eyes the better.

2. Bound from cover to cover, even if you think the area is clear.

3. Play with only 2 other buddies until you guys get used to the game. That way at least the first guy to die will get to respawn.

4. Draw fire...IT WORKS....

Nice reply, Cangaroo. Longdaddy, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm playing GRAW's SP missions in co-op with only one friend and he's new to the game and he's never played the SP campaign.

So I have no problem in warning him about probable tango locations. The MP tango locations are very similar to the SP locations but not always exactly the same. And yeah, the overhead is a huge help.

We actually finished the mission Contact! but have not even come close on Coup d'Etat or VIP Down. We will probably beat Coup d'Etat someday but VIP Down will be a biatch - just like in SP.

And yeah, it'd sure be nice to have a few more "reserve" bodies. We put them on "hold" at the mission start but call them forth if we get too far from them.

Longdaddy, stick with it. Maybe you guys just need a bit more practice. I play on the HARD difficulty. The firefights in the stock missions are awesome and the scripting makes it more dynamic. Try to use more squad-based tactics. Many times we'll think heck if we had only done this or that... After several playthroughs, you'll get to know the enemy locations and will naturally do better.
