BigOlBrain
Your PC specs please...and how well does it run for ya? I haven't played in over a month probably so if there's been a new patch then I wouldn't know. Anyway, I'm only asking because I want to compare my PC's performance to everyone else's. I honestly don't remember my settings but I know I had a heck of a time getting it to run decent. My pc is AMD 3800+ with a 7600gt and a 1gig of PC5400 ram...... Now I know it's not high-end anymore but imo it should run a lot better than it does. How about you guys/

BigOlBrain
So should I expect lower performance with this PC ya think? I'll have to go into the setting again and see if I can get it to run any better...I'm playing at 1440x900 I believe so that probably doesn't help much either. Save that $250 and spend it on a better mouse or monitor or speaker system.

Hawseman
Opti 180, 2 gb, X-fi.... Just added an x1950 agp to the ole beast and she runs smooth as k.y. @1280x1024, an8x, and everything HIGH. Should buy me time until DX10/Vista settle out (usually SP2 or so). I need to install fraps to see what kind of frames I'm getting now. Huge improvement over my x1600 (20-30fps@1024x768, post=low, shadows=low)....game is quite immersive with high-end hardware. X1600 is a dog...barely beat my 9800pro/256. There's a 100 bucks I could've used on a lonesome prostitute.....

chiles4
I'll just give the pertinent specs: - Athlon 64 San Diego 4000+ oc'ed to 3.0Ghz - ATI X1900GT (stock 575/600) oc'ed to 682/855 - 2GB of PC3200 RAM (Corsair XMS) At 1280x1024 with medium settings, I average about 55-60fps. The overclock on the video card made all the difference in the world. Having seen so many of these posts, it's getting so I can pretty much guess what a person's average frame rate will be. Mostly, you just have to look at the video card being used.

Rbrad1
I guess that I must have the "lamest" of all the specs!: AMD 64 3700+, 2 gig DDR400 RAM, WD 250 gig HD (7200 rpm)and a Biostar 6800 XT with 512 MB VidRAM. Oh and a SoundBlaster Audigy SE card. Game runs on High for everything. BTW, the Vidcard is an AGP (MB is Gigabyte 939 socket).
