Tinker
Download Centcom as normal, then use 7-Zip to unpack it. Is just like winrar and so.
LEODIS
Mission 4 on Centcom (the prison one). All hostiles surrendered or killed, CIA op back to truck at start and all the team intact. Objectives thus all showing complete but mission won't end. Any ideas please? Is there an extract zone I can't see? natsanwa
i think all the team needs to be in the compound, sort of near the far left wall - ish? something like that anyhow.

Ray604
awesome mod guys. but I was just wondering if there is a way to turn on cheats in singleplayer? I know it makes me a n00b but i need it for some parts of missions.
Ray604
SPOILER --------------------------------------- in the 7th campaign mission how long does the meeting between the Northern Alliance and Civilian take? Because i left it for 15 minutes and they were still talking.
P@LaD!n
awesome mod guys. but I was just wondering if there is a way to turn on cheats in singleplayer? I know it makes me a n00b but i need it for some parts of missions. In SP (single player) you can use the number keypad's "enter" key to bring up the console. From here type in: teamsuperman (makes the team invincible) ammo (unlimited ammo - except for frags, demo charges, sensors and other single use items) run (increases run speed) teamshadow (makes your team undetectable, but using this also makes parts of the mission scripts fail so use sparingly). I don't recommend using the cheats, but if you're stuck on how best to complete a mission, or just want to explore a new map, those are some of the codes you can use. They will not work in MP (Multi-Player) mode, which is a blessing. Also, please note that playing on recruit mode also gives you unlimited ammo for rifles/saws/m203's, as does using arcade mode in MP play. SPOILER --------------------------------------- in the 7th campaign mission how long does the meeting between the Northern Alliance and Civilian take? Because i left it for 15 minutes and they were still talking. I'm not sure of the exact time limit, but you have to make sure of a few things: 1) When they're all in the same room don't hit the escape key to go grab a smoke, snack, soda, etc. It pauses the game and stops all play. (SP mode only) 2) All of the actors have to be in the same room. 3) *YOU* and your team have to be in the same room also. Some team members can be at the windows of the room, and/or doors to provide security, but everyone has to be in the room as the Ghost Team is part of the meeting process. 4) Don't let yourself or any team member leave the room once the meeting has begun. 5) *** Spoiler Alert *** --- --- --- Don't let your guard down just because the meeting started. Ray604
thnx alot. And yeah, I only use cheats where realism is overshadowed by bad AI causing KIA so i'm forced to cheat to survive certain parts.
Malleus
Hi! I had to do a Windows reinstall recently, and I was halfway through the Centcom campaign. I only backed up the the /centcom mod/save folder. I reinstalled GR, the expansions and Centcom, and copied back the save folder, but it either just crashes when I click Campaign or it lets me in, but only the first mission is listed as available, though I can load my savegames. So what's going on here, how can I fix this? Thanks
wombat50
Probably need a centcom_unlockedhero.xml and centcom missions added to your unlocked_missions.xml GR will write or update them to your main directory for GR if you will do this as you play each mission: -as soon as the mission starts, bring up the console- enter on numpad -type unlockhero -press enter numpad -type autowin -press enter on numpad -press escape to exit console. Probably will not give you a chance in this case as thr misson goes automatically to debrief screen.
Buehgler_AS
What wombat50 said... At least that would be my guess. Those XML files (up in the top level GR directory) are where the game keeps track of missions you have played/beaten and unlocked heroes. Malleus
Thanks. I experimented with this a bit and reaized what was the problem. Last time I installed Centcom to the /mods/centcom/ directory, but this time I installed it to /mods/centcom mod/ directory (straight out of the zip). That caused a problem because my old [campaign_name].csf_bin savefile referenced the first path* which was not compatible with the new path. This caused the crash when I clicked on Campaign in the main menu. I renamed the mod directory to the old one and it works now. I edited the xml files manually, to have the heroes and the maps available in quick mission. Thanks for the help. * I didn't know this file contained the path in itself, I thought the game just searches the save directory and uses whatever it finds there. Looks like it's not the case. Lesson learned. Edited November 20, 2009 by Malleus
Malleus
I have a problem again. Looks like I can't load any savegame I make after a yellow text message appear on the screen. I had this problem on the mission where you have to escort an NA officer to some meeting. During the meeting you get yellow text messages (the meeting is in progress, etc.) and any savegame I make after that is unusable. I managed to complete that level without loading, but now it's the same problem on the 11th mission where you have to recon tent camps. These yellow messages indicate the status of the recon, and I can't load savegames made after a message. When I try to load in this cases, it's either a "program performed an illegal operation etc" thing and crashes to desktop, or it loads, but I'm outside the map (under it?) or something and it tells me that all my men are dead, and mission failed. Any fix for that, or ideas what could be the problem? Edited December 20, 2009 by Malleus
Tinker
This is 1 of my missions, I have no idea at all why displaying a message would cause this problem. It has never been reported before. Do you have the mission patches installed? Little bust with other things, but can find some time in the week to look at it I guess.
Malleus
I have the mission patch 2 installed (centcom-mission-fixes-00.7z). Edited December 21, 2009 by Malleus
Burawura
I have the mission patch 2 installed (centcom-mission-fixes-00.7z). So patch 1, missionsv3.zip, is not necessary? Only the patch 2 is needed?

Tinker
Yes apply patch 1, then patch 2. I had compiled the fixes into a new download to save confusion, but seems it has been removed from filefront. Any problems, just post, I will try to look at them if I can. Rocky
I was going to do that, there really only needs to be one updated mission folder, not two patches.
Malleus
I'll try that, but judging by the content, patch2 overwrites 99% of the patch1 files anyway... EDIT: Didn't fix the problem, but I narrowed it down, I think. I checked the north camp first, and it was okay, got all the Recce messages and could load the saves made after that. The problem kicked in when I met the informant. Got the message "nice to see you, the intel is here and here", and got the objective complete notification for "meet the informant". Save games made after that are corrupt, and I can't load them (crash or "all soldiers have been lost" or both). Tinker
It must be the informant being teleported off the map somewhere I hope. Found it Informant is teleported to zone bin, which is off map, and will not work in a save. A new file is available HERE just put it in your Centcom/Mission folder and overwrite. You will need to start the mission from scratch though. I was going to do that, there really only needs to be one updated mission folder, not two patches. The page previous has a download link to a full compiled mission folder, but DL has gone. I`ll do this when I get chance, have a few other fixes for some of them too. MarkAm_i
I get the following error message in my Ikelog when I am in the kit selection screen and I choose one of the rifleman kits: RSFILEDATA: FindFile could not find file rifleman-106.rez-04.kit Can someone help me fix this? Maybe by putting in the missing file I can prevent the crashes.
Hammer
Are you just using the Centcom mod plus GR,DS,IT ? or with other mods ?
