There is one problem that seems to persist for me - some times GR crashes when trying to load a save game. It was a general problem in the last mission of IT, both in the original version and running the Triologi mod: The crashes would occour when saving inside the compound. Currently I am playing " Operation After Shock" and have run into problems in the 5th map "Eagles Eyrie". I am 4 minutes into the game - when I try reloading the games crashes. There is no problem loading earlier save games = less than 3 minutes old. To me it appears that my save games are curropted in two situations: 1) When saving in/near buildings with a high degree on details 2) When saving at a time of high activity = a lot of enemies Can anyone please help me out here? I would prefere not to play it on recruit level, but at the time it seems to be my only option for compleeting the campaign. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

wombat50 545 Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 Its been awhile, but seems like I had a similar problem with saves in general. I went thru and deleted all the saves for quick missions and campaigns for the GR, DS, and IT. Then deleted all the saves for any mods I had at the time. It helped in my case. I have heard, at times there can be a issue with the save feature for user made mods. In my case, a particular tournament mission was impossible to save at any point. Got into tactical wargames from ProSim and found the "iron Wrath" mod for Raven Shield and had a go at it. Today I tried deleting all save games and running the "mountain_stronghold" mision again. It worked fine untill I had soldiers right outside the big building, then the game would crash when starting from save game. So that is not it either!? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
