DS crashes, exits to desktop, help!!

Everytime i choose a mission from Desert Siege, the game crashes after the briefing, when i click on the next button to enter the roster to choose the soldier it exits the program and returns to desktop. I've tried uninstalling it more than 5x but it didn't work. I'm not having trouble playing with Ghost Recon and Island Thunder missions, the only problem is with the missions in Desert Siege. I need all the help i can get, Thanks!!! Hooyah!!

It sounds like you've got a dodgy character in there somewhere. If it always happens it's likely to be a specialist. Open up your d_unlocked_heroes.xml file in notepad and post the contents here.

What mods have you got active? Have you removed any mods recently?

Here it is, i have lots of mods, but i tried deactivating whatever is active to see if it's the problem, but it isn't. I even tried with no mods activated only DS and IT. But i used to play DS with Mike's Boonie Hat mod for DS. I activated and deactivated it, but it isn't the cause too. Thanks for the help!! Hooyah!!

Hey all,

I have the same problem. I purchased GR with DS/IT

I have not unlocked any specialists in DS except for Lindy Cohen, only on the second mission. So i am not sure what that fix was billee.

I have not installed any mods except for DS and IT.

Original GR works just fine.

Could any please gimme a hand with it?
