We just wanted to see if the bayonet thing would work ingame first - and it does. Now we'll go back and make amendments to the model.

It's done. AUS_Vipers military contacts provided great pics in record time, so I was able to correct the issue just as fast.

Stand by for render update... ;)

Ok, a couple of things to post tonight.

Firstly, the SA80A1 has been modified to show the real British Army bayonet. This bayonet is the "shoot through" variety, meaning that it clips onto the end of the barrel and not above or below.

The earlier pics of this weapon (in the posts above) have already been automatically changed since they link directly to my site. In addition, I thought I would show you a couple of the bayonet itself and one of the bayonet next to the SA80A1

As well as the SA80A1 with bayonet, the SIG 550 precision rifle has also been completed. This will be used by the Portuguese Specialist. Here's a few of shots:

In case you didn't notice, the last picture shows the SIG with a "double" clip. This is not an error, but it is a another new feature we will be adding in this MOD. In some weapons, you will get to have two clips taped together and will be able to use both clips!

This is how it will work - when you start, you might notice the second clip on the right hand side of the weapon. Empty this into as many tango's as you like and then instead of reloading, go for the second clip. Once you reload, the second clip will be on the left hand side of the weapon! So you have actually changed from the empty to the full :)

Like the useable bayonet - I think this is the first time this has been done in a MOD :)

I suggest you pay a visit to AUS_Viper's site and check up all the feapons featuring in this mod...belive me, posting them all here would take way too long... :rocky:

Yes it is - because changing from Primary Weapon (clip1) to secondary (clip2) is actually faster than reloading. :D

Streinger has modified the Australian Sniper rifle (SR98) by adding even more foliage to the barrel. This guy is going to be hard to spot in MP!

Also, some sad news tonight. Due to a promotion and international posting, one of our team members has had to leave the project :( I won't publish his name or rank due to OPSEC, :ph34r: (since he is is real world military), but I will say sincerely from all of the team - thanks for your huge contribution to this project and we all hope it goes well "over there". :wub:

One more thing - make sure you commandeer a PC every now and then, to check the status of this MOD ;)

The sniper looking very nice he'd be very unlucky if i gotta go pee might mistake him for a bush

:D you cannot get that close to him..you'de be long dead if you tried...unless you can pee further then sniper rifle can shoot :lol:;)
