LouDaman
How do I get the LAN created servers to show up in the Local LAN list for the other PC's that want to connect? I create a server on the LAN and when I try to connect to it from my other pc I can't see it on the list. Can anybody help with this? Thanks Edited November 11, 2006 by LouDaman
FI_FlimFlam
There shouldn't be a problem if all the computers are on the LAN and can see each other properly. I would suggest turning off the Windows firewall or any other firewall on at least the CPU that is hosting / acting as the server. That would be my first guess at your problem. BOTA:X
Alternately you could just put the server up on gamespy and have the other computers add its LAN ip to the favorites (192.168.x.x) Edited November 12, 2006 by BOTA:X
ROCO*AFZ*
Shut off all firewalls... including the windows one. Make sure you are in the same workgroup (right click my computer, left click properties, computer name tab)
