I have made a .map folder, also a .env folder using Igor -binarybuild but when i try to load the .env to create a quick mission i am prompted with: IGOR Out of memory If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated. Phlookian Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Hi Tinker, Sorry mate (my mistake) It's been so long since I worked on an actual map that I copied over the wrong export settings The settings are: 0.100000 10.000000 10.000000 1.000000 1000.000000 1000.000000 The alpha texture search folder should be set to the folder where your map is Export co-ordinate system: 3D Studio Max Texture co-ordinates: Invert Y ( sherman ) Max units: centimeter (cm) Export units: meter (m) Also, when you set up the Env file you need to set the Far clipping distance to 90 and the max spotting distance to 150 These last two distances are rule of thumb and can be changed to suit when you get your map happening. element11 Posted November 7, 2006 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Just leting you know, you dont actually have to specify the folder for the textures with any gr model type.
