Kicks me to toolbar

I recently reloaded GR with the expansion packs and 1.4 patch. I have a NEC Multisync LCD 1970GX monitor with an ATI Radeon 9800 pro. Problem is when I load up the game and go into multiplayer when I finally get into a game lobby the game only gives me about 40 sec or less b4 it kicks me to the desktop and GR to the toolbar. If I click back on the Gr in the toolbar it brings back up the GR screen and again it waits a short time and kicks me back. When I change kits it kicks me back and I have to hurry and click on toolbar to get lobby up and try to make a selection. Now, when I'm in a game I have no problem it plays as usual. I have the latest Catalyst drivers, and reloaded my Audigy drivers Any ideas? iI'll try and post the Ike log if I can.
