Lancer Posted December 25, 2006 Share Posted December 25, 2006 Flags on the left arm are displayed as if viewed with the flag pole to the left and the flag blowing towards the right. Flags on the right arm are displayed as if viewed with the flag pole to the right and the flag blowing towards the left. This way your countries flag is never viewed as retreating and always going forward. This is old school heraldry but the military still, rightly, apply this ruling. Just a FYI, no biggie.
