swartsz 7
another Silent Warrior 3 update: i have gotten some great feedback from the beta testers and have made extensive changes to the mod, in the last days i have completely reworked the MP kits and made some other changes to the mod. so i am pleased to say it is in its final stage right now. plus i have added another M4 version to the Silent Warrior 3 line up, Edited October 7, 2003 by swartsz

Thumper1518 62
Having beta-tested this one, I can tell you that the fans of the previous two SW mods are gonna change your undies when you get a load of all the weapons and kits. These play very nicely on converted SOAF maps, too.

swifty 0
hey swartsz, first of all GREAT JOB. those guns are downright juicy looking ingame. I LOVE variety in mods, where multiple configurations of the same weapon are made, and you put a lot of variation in. awesome. my favorites are the m4 "scout" (with the aimpoint in front of the handle), and the mp5's with the taclights and lasers. also, the m4 cqb is a great idea. they would all go into my permanent activation rotation save for the fact that there are no holsterpoints set! the sexiness is ruined when you can't see the weapons slung. also, the sounds aren't the greatest. but hot damn, the bread and butter of your mod (the models and textures) are pristine perfect. as a side suggestion, I know your mod is "silent warrior," but have you considered unsilenced versions of all of these weapons? they're really superb, and I'd like to use them across the board to replace the ones I'm using now. of course, I also use versions with any given combination of m203's, masterkeys, and acogs, but that's a different story. (I can dream, can't I?)
swartsz 7
thanks Swifty, first of all i made a lot of the weapons before i even knew how to make the Holsterpoints. that is why the guns don't have them, there is one mp5 who has it but i don't think it ruins the overall look and feel of the mod. as for the sounds, the M4 sounds are the real ones, donated to me by Parabellum and David Crane - Editor-in-Chief of www.defensereview.com and the mp5 ones are from Ghost Recon and i think they sound really cool. About the 'Unsilenced' Warrior, maybe! that is all i really can say at the moment, there are some unsilenced versions of my models but they are for another project. perhaps in the future i will throw them all together to create another mod. EricJ 0
Hi swartsz, I'll have to go with swifty. I recently downloaded it, and was impressed. Always a good job. I've been developing another campaign, and might consider using a few weapons from your mod, though right now selection is still under consideration, mainly for a specialist or something. Will PM you when I figure it out though. Good job!
swartsz 7
thanks EricJ might consider using a few weapons from your mod ?.... maybe if you ask nicely. Edited October 10, 2003 by swartsz
Whisper_44 0
Plenty of fun to play... nice job swartsz. SOAF maps are screaming for that improved MP5SD
EricJ 0
I agree Whisper_44. I ran "Chiseled Edges" with the MP5SD5 (C Team) and the SD6 with Aimpoint, laser sight, and flashlight (B Team). While the AI had no problem taking down tangos, I felt that it required full auto, and most of the magazine. But when I cleared the room with B team (AI), one of the guys cleared house with his MP5 (One guy on each team has an MP5 variant, though I ran shotgun and snagged one of them), so this mod is definitely a keeper.
