Beaver
Myself & a couple of guys in our team are currently working on some code (web-based - perl/php/html/mysql) to import specified XML log files from GR:AW, along with some user input details into a database (mysql) & then have an HTML or PHP output automagiaclly generated showing the stats of the match. This is primarily focused towards teams who are playing competitively on GR:AW Ladders, and want a break down of the maps, rounds & player stats of each match played. For example, we played a match recently against another team with the following set-up: Best of 3 maps & 4 rounds per map - alternating sides each round - 10mins per round - 3 respawns - Gametype: Hamburger Hill Map 1 - Com Station Map 2 - Shanty Town Map 3 - Strongpoint Once the match has finished, the XML logs for each round can be retrieved from the server & then imported into a database & a match report generated. Below is an example output from the 1st map & 1st round played on that map - the output would obviously be longer, showing all the rounds played (grouped by map) and showing a summary of who won each round, map & the overall match. If anyone has some useful suggestions/ideas/comments on the concept, then please let us know, as our goal is to release this to the GR:AW community for other teams to use. We should be setting up a public discussion forum for the project shortly over on our site - www.tugteam.com/forums/ Thanks. ROCO*AFZ*
As a question... in OGZR Co-op ... will it show the kills? rumor has it it won't , not that it will effect you for competitive matches but i am thinking of co-op tourns. The place that does our stats said until Grin fixes the reporting in stats of kills in CO-op he can't do anything . Nice job btw... it's good to see tools coming along... (stats, match tools, and anticheat tools) Edited October 16, 2006 by ROCOAFZ
reeper_3d
I am already working on a tool which encompasses that functionality. Will post more about it later.
ROCO*AFZ*
I am already working on a tool which encompasses that functionality. (stats, match tools, and anticheat tools) Will try & make sure its compatible with all the gametypes. All we're doing is processing the XML log files into a db at the moment. Nice work dood.. is there a chance of any public download for this tool at any time ?? Yes it'll be released publically when we have it polished. Here's an example of a full match report: http://www.tugteam.com/downloads/tug_v_ukg...tch-report.html At the moment I just typed all the scores in by hand to see what the layout would be like - needs some polishing.
