Forrester
I don't know, and never want to know anything about consoles. 2 reasons 1 tac-shooters on console are impossible (way insuffissient possibillity's, and that counts for GRAW too!) 2 a console would be taken by my kids, and I never would get a chance to play on them..... (at night maybe) but I think consoles s*ck so I will never buy one
Ghost9
pc is definately greater than ps2 and xbox. ps2 and xbox were ports done from the 360 version, and they were done very poorly. I think the 360 version may be better as it seems to be more polished probably due to a bigger budget and more time. but i have no idea really. PC's will always be the best platform for an fps though. You can't beat a mouse for aiming.
Hockeystick
1 tac-shooters on console are impossible (way insuffissient possibillity's, and that counts for GRAW too!) Just look at any console-tac-shooter. Weak AI, otherwise you would get spanked
CkZWarlord
The biggest problems with PC versus console is the continual updating a PC gamer requires to be able to keep playing their games. Console gamers don't have this problem (it really is a problem as a PC gamer needs to invest approx $600 in vid/sound cards and other stuff that needs to be replaced almost every year), granted for the N64 there was amongst others an enlarged memory module available but it wasn't required to play games. Next in the comparisson is the prefered style of games: obviously FPS and RTS games are far more playable on PC than on any console, but then again, I personally prefer to play racing, platform and RPG games on consoles for the exact same reason. Another thing to take into consideration is what kind of gamer you are: are you a "social" gamer (aka like to sit around with a bunch of friends in the same room and play games) or do you prefer to play when you are alone in a room (let's be frank, PC gamers rarely play in the same room (physically) outside of LAN-parties). If the first style is more your thing than you would probably be better buying a console as it doesn't require a whole PC to be transported from one place to another as opposed to consoles where you might have to bring an extra controller or maybe an extra console which is still a lot less hardware to shift than a PC. Now when you ask me which is better amongst consoles, currently I'd have to say that the XBox 360 is the top of the line console... although PS3 will probably blow it clear out of the water once it is released this november. Now for me personally as a long-time console gamer I prefer the PS2 as it's controllers are simular (positions of the buttons) to the older consoles as for example the Super NES or the Sega Megadrive as opposed to the XBox' huge clumsy controllers. Basically, it all comes down to personal prefference, PS2 has mine over XBox 360 due to the controllers but obviously the XBox 360 is far more powerful than a PS2. To me, this question is rather useless because it all comes down to 2 thing: 1. Prefered playing style. 2. How much money you can/are willing to spend. Therefore, IMHO, there is no cut and clear "this is better than that". EDIT: took out some grammatical errors EDIT: Another thing that bugs me about PC games is their number of errors but I suppose that is due to all the different hardware designers have to take into consideration. Just noticed I didn't tell my preference between console and PC: I don't prefer one over the other, although PC is really starting to annoy me with all the money you have to invest just to play a game, it is starting to become way to expensive I think.
