Expansion pack for GRAW?

R u serious? :wall:

How many copies do u think UBI is goin to sell?

This game has been let down from day 1.

They gave us a "beta" and charged for a "full game".

Patch after patch and still same crap.

U should do a poll and see how many will "buy" it.

awesome avatar that is..... lol but the comment...

We'll see what time brings, the game is good, after the last major bugs (GL and disconnections) are fixed it will come to great laddering I'm sure. On the other hand modding missions and such is quite hard as far as I know, so we'll have to depend on mappacks to keep us playing (or a better/easy editor and the mod-activation screen....)

<sigh> I don't know how often this needs to be pointed out, but the game was NOT considered a let-down by most players (with the exception of the more hardcore group, ie the people here). Look at the reviews from almost every site out there, including fan based reviews on sites that sell the game, and you will notice that a lot of people actually LIKED the game.

No problem with buying a couple of expansions, bring 'em on. As long as the SP part is good people will buy the expansion. I am myself to 90% a MP-player (and really enjoy the MP experience) but I do see that the SP part is the economical backbone for an expansion (a standalone expansion that is).

My question for all the GRAW lovers out there;

you're all clamoring about a stupid expansion pack beginning of the year when a GR4 is supposed to come about in FEB 2007?(I'm speaking strictly from the leaked news about GR4).

oh how the wheels of capitalism roll. :shifty: God help us if it turns out to be another GRAW in disguise :ph34r:

As disappointed as I was that the game did not come with Co-Op like ORG or a few other features I have still enjoyed this game. I am on my third play through of the SP missions and more than likely I'll play them again after that. So yes I would buy an Expansion for the game in a heart beat.

What was the question, really? GR4 for PC? In FEB 2007? Well I belive it when I see it, it will not happen IMO (GR2 anyone?); not in FEB 2007, not in 2007, most likely not ever. I will be playing GRAW MP the coming year and hope for an expansion which will further the experience in time and quality.

Speaking for myself I tend to want to improve the current situation and not look too far into the future (GR4, whatever) for my next fix. I hope that an expansion (or at least a mission editor) for GR:AW is in the cards, but if not, the sky will not fall. You play the hand you're dealt, or fold.

Besides, if members weren't opening posts like this, what would you have to respond to? :shifty:

Consistency breeds credibility.

@papa

do the math, GR4 Q1 2007

how much time and how much resources do they have ?? that project sounds like graw to me

too little time too little resources to satisfy the fans (at least some of them)

i'd rather think of an expansion than a GR4 in that time frame

Let me verify something GR3= GRAW

GR4 = GRAW!?!

when they say they are going from GR3 to GR4 that usually is indicative of another self contained title. not an expansion i guess if it WERE GRAW it would be GR3-"expansion name"

example?

Rainbow6 3, Ravenshield then Rainbow 6 3-athena sword...

Rainbow6 4, lockdown

Rainbow6 5, vegas

all separate titles not NOT expansions packs of each other in any way.

i know, and understand,

i just don't think it is desirable to have a GR4 in this time frame

at that time frame it is like graw, too little time too little resources

thus i prefer thinking of gr4 of being what comes after graw

and then i would rather have an expansion than a full new game

how long has GR4 had to become ? and is it PC or is it console ?

for the console it would be easy, same engine same platform,

pc and this time frame ? new or updated engine (dx10) backwards compatible(dx9)

new maps and story, sounds and ingame content,

the pc needs more time to develop, so i'd rather see an expansion then a second graw....

hope this explains my post

Yeah it does explain well. It would just be silly if GR4 does market on time(if development started a time ago) to overlap the two. do folks buy into the expansion? or the new GR4? or both? :wacko:

the expansion would make sence, as seen in the console with their nicuragua part in them

but an updated diesel engine and a stand alone graw 2 for dx10 might be in range as they could have had time to develop for dx10 since the start of graw

which would explain some of the hurdles and draw backs with graw now...

but we only know when official news comes from PR people

i just have my fingers crossed :)

Thank for your nice comment about my Avatar,

However, take a look at BF2, on avrage there are more than800 servers (weekends about 1100) for gamers to choose from.

I wonder what the stats for GRAW is?

Btw, did I mention BF2 ia about 2 years old?

Don't get me wrong, I had such high hopes fro this game, but ........... UBI droped the ball again.

And if they think they can fool me again, ........... Don't think so.
