Rocky Posted September 28, 2006 Share Posted September 28, 2006 Tom Anger (Action-Inside/Nova-Inside director) has taken the role as Tournament Director with Pro Gaming Leagues in a vision to bring GRAW to a new and consitent level of competition called GRAWfare Tournaments. PGL has revised their rules and match specifications to coincide with GRAW's new patch and are inviting the community to join in this fun event. There are more to follow with many goodies planned. Now I know the word MATCH or TOURNAMENT can be a little intimidating and to tell people to play on a certain date at times is inconvenient for squads. I want to make it clear that I will try my best to work with everyone interested to get dates setup and some decent matches on the team's terms within reason. Having said that, please don't wait until last minute to reply in the associated tournament forums to signup. I did some significant work to put this together as well as the NEW RULES & MATCH SPECS so I hope you will join me in seeing this through. I have some entries already. Lets have fun with it. If you would like to give this a go please go to the link in the original post and let me know. I also spoke to other league reps on the possibility of future brackets where 4 leagues hold an 8 man bracket (I can organize it) and squads represent 1 of the leagues and we nail it down to 1 league winning the championship. Tom_Anger Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 The idea is to get teams filled in the slots by Oct4th, but if needed I may push it back a week. I think sticking to Oct 4th to get a slot would be the goal. Keep in mind the rules for the # of players is optional and you can substitue your team members during the match. So if you only have 5 to play and another team has 8, we could set your match up 5 vs 5 and the other team can get all their players in if they like. You don't need a website or anything to get in this either. Get 5 people and create a team name. If it is just to get in the brackets to fight against well established teams then go for it. I would like to fill thi up before Thursday and make myself available Friday at certain times for any general questions. Basically it is difficult to pair teams up and some teams don't know who to challenge so this kind of starts it up. If you only have 4 players that is enough to do this.
