callmehobbes Posted September 19, 2006 Share Posted September 19, 2006 Hi - is anyone willing to model a diver model for the UKSF mod (I know some have been attempted in the past but I'm hoping for something new.) Ideally the model will be wearing a dry suit (bulky) with a hood up and mask raised. He will be wearing dive boots with his fins strapped to his legs and will have a Drager LAR V rebreather on his chest. But you should add some attachment to that soldier, such as Draeger LAR-V and the dive mask by DTD or wolfsong. anyway, there is a skin that could do the job for you. a russian model in Origmiss: rs_south_aks.chr reskinning this can give some nice results! i'll try something tonight... ita_killabees Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 I just did a quick skin...But that would be my idea... changed the .chr to " ice_rebel_georgian_2ver.chr " take a look...anyway, need attachment for the mask, maybe a holster for the pistol or a pouche for right leg (done in a minute!) do you want a camo version maybe? ita_killabees Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 @Tools The mod with the attachment is Sabre Team, inside the folder of the HP_CRW_SAS.chr; HP_mp5mags.qob is the name of the attachment. @callmehobbes ok i've been skinnin a lil time, and realize that the model used by the DTD team is the model of the FARC soldiers in MP2; the problem with the attachment from DTD is that the Mid Spine Attachment (the Draeger LAR-V) is designed for such character and with the model of the Georgian Rebels and Russian Soldiers it gives some troubles for the attachment on the back, the "fins" (is it right?), that seem to came out of the soldiers back and are visible only an half of them is visible. The skins we can use are all the skins from desert siege (of the enemy soldiers and multiplayer .chrs) and we have to add a good attachment in the low spine and maybe on the legs. MP1 MODEL SKIN: RUSSIAN MODEL SKIN: The suits of the divers come from DTD IDF Mod, i just renamed those one and adapted them to the character i was testing. No further modifications have been done.
