Trying to patch GR v1.0.0.2

Recommended Posts

Hi, folks,

I have dug up an old GR CD which came with a graphic card. It works nicely, but I don't seem able to patch it. I have used the patch up to 1.3, and it installs without any error message. But when I start the game, it asks for the CD and doesn't recognize it. Yes, I do have the original game CD.

Would be grateful for help, cheers,

Nele

First off, try GENTLY cleaning your GR CD. Try the game again.

If you still can't access the game:

You may need to try Patch 1.4 | Try LocoGamer.com or ThePlatoon.com for the 1.4 Patch. Post back and let me know if that helped.

If you got your copy of GR with an MSI brand video card, the CD will not be detected correctly when patches are applied. I had this problem as I have an MSI board and the bundled version of GR that came with it.

A fix is available from GR tech support (ghostrecon.com) but only on a case-by-case basis. You will need to provide a dxdiag report to tech support in order to prove that you have an MSI card that came with GR.

Hope this helps.

I see. That should solve my problem, thanks a lot!
