sui317
has anyone bothered to check the creation date of the .exe file of the patch ? ? so to find out if it is the real one and not the beta ?? (since it is not on ubi server i am sceptic)

silent_op
I have one question... Can I just install over the beta v1.30 or do I have to do a complete reinstall (patches and all)? I'll be testing this out when I get home this evening. silent_op
sui317
i want to believe you but we all know ubi has not always proven watertight, and secure it is just strange that it is not on the ubi server

Forrester
Well, the ONLY problem with this, is that servers don't have it yet. You might be wrong there
zulater
Yes, in [GR] COOP mode you can respawn indef, 1,2,3,4,5 times you want to. hardcore [GR] COOP is firefight at it's baddest. the tangos are a real monster to beat. pay attention to your corners. alot of tutorials added for making weapons and alot more in the support folder. Since i was beta testing MP3. they added alot of stuff. but they added [GR] COOP and siege respectively as well. You'll notice the strongpoint map has changed dramatically. You can [GR] COOP upto like 32 people. Siege as well. yes dedicated server files are now in MP3. so you can now host your own dedicated servers. This is soooo freaking awesome that I just wet my pants!!!!!!! coop up to 12 unless it has changed from the beta.
GrimeyAK
the [GR] co-op is fun. I was doing a run through to make sure it worked. One thing though is that EricJ's MR-C68Full mod crashed the game when I was creating a local server to test it out (great mod by the way). Worked fine after I removed the mod files. DubStyle
I downloaded the patch and installed, then found I couldn't join any of the new co-ops due to different files from the servers. Having a few simple mods installed, I figured that was the problem. After a fresh install and patching again, I am still getting the same error. The only thing I copied and put back into my install directory was my profile folder with my saves. Would anyone know if that should cause me a problem? edit... I have also tried creating my own server for [GR] coop and each time I crash with this same error. Crash in application version: grpcrc1.30 data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(-1): cant set this to a value (type: <void>) SCRIPT STACK data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\groupmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0) Edited September 12, 2006 by DubStyle

FI_FlimFlam
Fatality Incorporated {game mode} is up. Currently set to [GR] COOP Recon Hard. I can switch modes quite easily as demand is there. This is on a dedicated server with good bandwidth and power. 2.8 Xeon, 1GB RAM. CPU utilization is generally just below 50% with hyperthreading on. thr0tt
Anyone notice the ability to now connect directly via IP ? Only downside is needing to log into Gayspy still but i guess that will sort the pirates out... Does the internet server need to be displayed in GS too or can u start an internet server wihout logging it with GS ? Maybe a LAN server created i.e. change the file to say not to do internet and ppl can still cnnect ? probably my guess... anyone want to test my theory ? Turtle-ZED
OK- if you have the BETA, you really have a different version of GRAW than the final 1.3 Patch. I'm sure that you were wise enough to make a copy of GRAW, named 'Copy of Ghost Recon etc' in yr Ubisoft Folder and ran the beta on the original, then deleted it once 1.3 appeared, removed 'Copy of' from the folder it made and patched that version to 1.3. Oh..you didn't...did you. Erm...reinstall. Patch, beat head against wall. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Play, enjoy- join [GR] server and blast some bots. Repeat as often as necessary. TedSmith
Just open up Add/Remove programs and uninstall the beta version, whats the difficulty ? Or use the start menu option that the beta patch installer creates. "Uninstall Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Patch". It works just fine. People just like to make things more difficult for themselves than necessary.
Strapt
I just installed it over the beta patch. Made no difference, it still works.

Waika
Perhaps someone that has the patch could post the "Commands.txt" for those of us that have a wait ahead of us, and would like something fun to read? I'm excited!
Stealth-IRA
Could someone please verify the patches needed from fresh install? I'm guessing that 1.3 is NOT a cumulative patch, meaning someone doing a fresh install will need 1.) Original Game disk(s) 2.) patch 1.21 3.) patch 1.3 Is this correct??? TIA Edited September 13, 2006 by Stealth-IRA
Rocky
All GRIN patches are cumulative, as detailed in our download section. Only download the latest patch.
