reverend Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 Hi All Been playing GR Gold for about a week now and I'm having a ball. Here's something I've been wondering about: My friend who rented GR for his Xbox had to pass certain criteria to unlock maps and weapons on that version of the game (i.e. finish Rookie level missions with no casualties to unloxk maps and finish an Elite Recon level to unlock a silenced sniper rifle). On my version, I noticed MP06 Castle (from the demo) is available for SP quick mission (Firefight/Recon/Defend), but maps MP01-05 (i.e. Train Wreck) are not available in those SP modes (although all the MP maps from DS and IT are already open). Do I have to unlock MP01-05 for SP by completing certain mission criteria? I have finished all the original, DS and IT campaigns in verteran mode so far. Is there anything else that can be 'unlocked' by performing certain SP tasks on the PC version? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
supasniper Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 (edited) There isn't any more to unlock other than what you already have you can get the other maps by changing some files i think but can't remember which ones some one else will be able to help on that one. Kurtz Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 I believe these maps are only for online play. There are no mission files for them so you can only play against other players, on these maps.
