Fripounet 0
The hope is back on this screenshot: Clans from GR1, limited number of players, limited number of respawns (or no respawns), HH/LMS. GRAW is slowly going in the right direction but it still needs help from UBI/Grin. It is time to release the missing non-yellow non-urban maps and server tools. I hope it will be in the next MP pack. (Sorry for the ugly screenshot. I play on an Athlon 64 3000+ 6600GT, windowed 1024x768 all details low, and worst of all French language )

rossiski 0
There is hope...as long as we keep GRIN hanging around here. That will be the key to GRAW becoming a success.

MikSnoopy 0
I've more/less stopped playing this game in public servers. It's impossible to find what I would call a "Good server", which I am positive none of you would agree on. I'm sick of max deaths, I'm sick of team deathmatch. I'd rather play the game - which rules out max deaths. And I'd rather feel like there is a purpose to moving around - which rules out team deathmatch. With TDM, there isn't really a point to move forward - if you just camp you could get as many kills as if you moved. (In theory, note "COULD" not "Will) With Max Deaths, you typically end up waiting for a map to end when you first join, or you join with multiple deaths already. And typically that ends up being a 5+minute wait. If not, nobody moves anyways because it's tdm and they don't want to die, so you end up creeping through the map only to get shot by someone who never leaves their precious little corner. No, I'm sorry. It's not even the dev's fault, far as I am concerned now. The only things that bug me about 1.21 I belive are all being fixed in this last patch (re: widescreen, and difficulty connecting to private co-op servers). I can already see the flames starting. *shrug* This is my honest opinion - and flaming me isn't going to change that. I'm not saying I don't like the game, nor am I saying I'm even remotely angered about the effort GRIN has put forward (re: not including the ws bug, heh). I do like the idea of max deaths and tdm for a match, but this is public servers I'm talking about. I have a hard time, coming home from work, tired as a siv, and wanting to play a game, only to go in and wait even longer to play said game. This is what keeps me going back to "Quake" styled games (re: as of recently, FEAR, Quake 4, and some CSS) which I can get into right now, and play, without worrying about having to find a specific type of server. Fonzarelli TAW 0
It's great, The TAW sever seems full a lot these days. I think 10 death limit is a good compromise.

To each his/her own. I don't like playing that way, but I certainly don't hold it against those that do (well, except those that die right away and spend the rest of the round complaining about how they have to wait). Wait until Siege is out though, I'm willing to bet that might be a good gametype for you. And I suggest you check out the Call of Juarez demo.....it's like a western Counter Strike (but actually fun )
MikSnoopy 0
A good gametime was DOM, in my opinion. I'm looking forward to Alliance (as linked in a previous thread), the FEAR expansion, and Quake Wars. Nothing else has really caught my eye. That being said, GRAW is, for me, the best game out right now. There are other games I currently play, but GRAW to me is like Tribes 1/2/V was to me - something I'll go back to till the day I cannot find anyone to play with. Then I'll mourn the past and move on - searching for a new game to play.
