Bob The Nailer 0 Posted April 7, 2003 Share Posted April 7, 2003 (edited) can i host a game on a server with mods on and still get players in there? what is the server side mods and how do you access them? i played with someone and they said it was a server side mod. any help? When you post your IP in the games room, you must say what mods you are runing....So everybody else can join you, if they have the same mods. If dont some will DL it. I hope it helps. Rocky 1,224 Posted April 7, 2003 Share Posted April 7, 2003 A server sided mod is a mod created specifically to be server side, and placed in the origmiss folder, not in a mods folder. Most mods will require all players to have it though, like new maps. Some new game types, and some missions will be server sided though. This is usually detailed in the readme.
