UKSF Mod

Recommended Posts

OK, it's been quiet in this thread for some time now. It's not my place to comment as to why or how. What I will say, if I can, is that the silence does not signal cancellation or death of the mod. On that note, there will be a surprise from me in this mod, aside from what I've already submitted (no CC, you don't know what this surprise is). Out of respect for the man himself, I'm not going to disclose what this 'surprise' is. I know he's been trying to get one these for the mod for a while now, and I've answered his prayers. The smoke signals took a while to reach me as the wind kept blowing them off their intended course.

Any queries, address them to CMH not me - it's not up to me to call the shots or answer your questions, not least without prior permisson from CMH. I'm not prepared to go over his head in order to provide all of you with the answers to your questions (even though I know the answers). It's nothing against you guys, you're a good crowd, and I know that CMH would do the same for me.

Great news - CC has sent me the UKSF weapons. Expect the first installments of the UKSF mod early next week.

(The mod is broken into various sections - the basic mod with reg chrs, weapons, new enemies etc, plus a selection of specialist only mods including arctic warfare, night ops, CQB, stealth ops, plain clothes ops and maritime ops. You simply select the specialist mod you want and give it priority in the mod files and then swap and change according the mission).

Sadly missions will not yet be included but they are in development (Thanks to Mig and Tinker).

Cheers

A few minor bugs - some of the specialists in some of the mods have an incorrect kit title or just the basic weapons. To give them the correct weapons simply go into the actor files and replace whatever is in the kitpath section with their own name.

Hope this helps.

Let`s just put a hold on here for a little?

CMH, I have figured the issues you were having, lot of Igor work here, but UKSF01 - 03 are fully functional.

As i am very interested in seeing this mod, i will fix them all up, no worries. Also, if you don`t mind, i may add the recent British Vehicles been released.

Weres CMH :sweating:

*EDIT*

I can only add, that CMH has picked out a few nice missions that are not included because of CTD on all. It is time consuming, and an hour on each at least will fix them up. This would be a shame to go as it is. I hope a week Tinkering with it maybe, and a fresh version.

Sry for trouble, but this deserves better.

:)

Don't worry Rocky _ the files I sent you are mission and CTD free. Tinker has an extra file to play with full of glitches, errors and CTD's!

I decided to release the mod without misions as it's been sitting on my hard drive for 6 months or so almost unchanged. Missions will be added at a later date!

That's my attempt at an Artkis(?) quilted jacket as worn in GW1 by the SAS.
