Cpl Ledanek 247
AS PROMISED Is there a formula on picking the best card towards an upgrade, vs picking a card for a new system? Example, my aging A8N-SLI Deluxe(2yrs-old) should I get the top nVidia card or something halfway, since the mobo is already aging and may need upgrading itself. Another is my A7N8X Socket A, 8xAGP, (I got a 6600GT now) should I bother getting the top nVidia AGP (7600GS I believe) or just just a step below the 7600GS.
Cpl Ledanek 247
Also to throw in the equation, I'll only be playing on a 19" monitor....it seems that high end cards are catering to 24" widescreen monitors only....it seems that way ...
Cpl Ledanek 247
I was just informed that the Asus A8N-SLI dex came with a PCI-E 8x AND NOT a PCI-E true 16----wouldn't that create a bottleneck if I was to upgrade to a 7950GX2, or a 7900 GT SLI? thx
