MERC7 Posted April 7, 2003 Share Posted April 7, 2003 HI. Hope this is the right section for this question. Love GR, long time player. Is Raven Shield worth it? How does it stack up against GR? Have read reviews that give it a thumbs up, and others that dont. Any one know if it comes with editing tools for making mods? WIll there be a modding community like GR? Thanks for any input. budgie Posted April 7, 2003 Share Posted April 7, 2003 GR compares better to Rogue Spear as the difference between that and Raven Shield is very little. Bottom line is that R6 is indoor action where the slightest move or hesitation could cost you the mission and GR is outdoor action where the slightest hesitation could cost the mission. The only difference is in GR and related mods, is that I've been able to hack the enemy AI and weapon files to create a greater margin for error . So didn't get any of the R6 games, and I too would like to have someone who has both to do a comparison, that is not too biased. Don't trust the idots from the magazines much. ruggbutt Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 I have RvS. It's pretty cool, the single player is great. In MP there are many issues that need to be resolved including trigger lag.
