Not exactly. Maybe I should have been more specific the first time around. Actually I was referring to "talk" I had heard a couple of months ago that the 360 will have a newer smaller and cooler operating processor. That is what I heard too. What I am really hoping for is that BIS releases Armed Assult on the 360, just like Flashpoint is currently available for the Xbox. I second that. And if they're wise they release it on time unlike they did with OFP:E, which was planned to come out years before it's actual release if I'm right. IMO OFP is the best game out there, and if the graphics were just a bit better, it would absolutely stomp even [GR] into the ground. As it stands, I think it beats GR by a good mile. Simultaneously, the same sources have suggested that Microsoft is planning Xbox 360 price cuts to undercut the newcomers. In addition, more knowledgeable gamers are awaiting a revision of the Xbox, including a CPU upgrade which is expected to resolve overheating issues and help Microsoft cut costs. Of course I am also still waiting for OFP to become backward compatible first, so I'll still wait until that happens, but I am still curious as to the status of the new processor.
