my sound has disappeared

I recently downloaded a weapons mod (cant remember which one), the new weapons work, but the sound to my other weapons is gone. For some reason, niether my or the enemy's weapons have any sound. could someone please tell me what i can do, or if there is some patch or something.

Have you tried deactivating that mod to see if the original sounds return, it may be the mod overidding the original sounds, try it and see if that works.
