5timechamp Posted August 14, 2006 Share Posted August 14, 2006 (edited) here goes: -I bought the GOTY edition of the game yet some functions arent present...for starters i cant get the third person view to function. I use the assigned key and it doesnt work..what could the possible problem be?? -I have tried downloading patches/addons/mods (sorry not completely up to speed with pc functions) anyhow i downloaded a delta mod yet cant get the darn rar file to work..what exactly am i supposed to be doing with the rar file?? am i supposed to send to disk and go from there? what do i do? (i know these sound like basic pc function sections but hey i need the help). Hell the rar files say i dont have the proper program to open it....though i did somehow manage to run the 1.96 version patch on the game itself. thanks for any and all help.. 2nd Ranger Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 The default 3rd person key is the enter key on the numpad. Is that the one you are pressing? If so, try changing it. Also, download Izarc and use that for opening your rar files and such. When you have extracted the files, read the readme and put them where it tells you (usually in Codemasters/Operation Flashpoint/Res/Addons).
