sen360
OK I know there are some great mods with delta operatives, sabre teams, nmm2.0, some new mod that just came out has some good ones to, but has anyone considered making a mod in which all the reg characters are delta, like nmm's or sabre teams, and the specilists are actual Delta legends with new skins. or different camos. would any one out there consider doing this? If not can some one show me how I could change all the normal operatives into sabre/nmm delta?
JTF-2
you copy and paste the actor file of the delta character you want into the actor files of all the regs. this is a pain and would take a long time. you would also have to try and vary the faces as much as possible... but i like your idea about a Delta mod. after all there was SEALs mod wasn't there. ya, i know there are mods out there. Maybe a mix of all the delta mods is what you need. that can be done yourself with a bit of time and lots of patience. just ask if you need to know how to combine mod... Avey
If you do combine mods together do not release it!! You can use it for your own personal use but people will start to get annoyed if you use their work without permission.
Argyll
I have just released the Delta CQB mod,and one of the specialists is none other than Col.Charlie Beckwith, the founder of SFOD-D(Delta Force). It is very difficult to name a mod after "legends" cause most Delta Operators tend to keep their ID's secret, and I had no intention whatsoever of using the names of Fallen Operators!! As Delta are SF,I thought about making it a TC,to change all the originals to Delta operators, but I decided to keep it a specialist mod ! sen360
JTF-2 Yeah if you could show me how to combine sabre teams delta with say nmm's delta or even Argyll's delta that would be really cool. Also do you know of anyone who might be intrested in making a Delta mod? avey2904 definatly this would be for personal use, unless the delta mod is to become a reality then I would ask the modders for their permission to use there skins Argyll your mod is great a real work of art do you plan to make any more skins based on pics from mil morons? and your right it would be disrespectful to exploit the names of men who were killed for this country, what i meant was to use names from the delta movies and skins based on past missions as spec. like for example desert one or panama, as for names they could be covers such as SGT''Matt'' or ''Mark'' becase their names would be ''classified'' in game. so why just specialist? sen360
JTF-2 the skins on your banner are those woodland delta from nmm?
hippeis
Sorry if I missed it, but could you tell me where i might be able to download you "Delta CQB" mod? I don't recall seeing it on the news page. Thanks.
Suicide Commando
http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/121661.shtml I think there's other mirrors but I can't seem to locate them at the moment.
Avey
i think www.locogamer.com hosted the Delta CQB mod Note: you need to register to download but it is worth it. Its free and quicker than fileplanet
JTF-2
@Sens360: my sig...well those are the Delta desert models (from nmm) but retextured by me (US army jungle camo w/camo vest and harness etc.) with the weaps from Earl's "standard upgrade". (a prime example of combining mods;) ) HOW TO COMBINE MODS: *note, you can't release this. it would only be for your presonal use* ok, the basic rule of thumb here is copy and paste. It really depends on what you want to combine. for this example let's just take the skins and models from Sabre teams and put them into NMM2. -C&P (copy and paste) the "North American" folder found in "Mods\BjB_SabreTeams\Character\NorthAmerican" into the Character folder in "Mods\nmm_modv20\Character". that get's the models and textures into NMM, now all we have to do is tell the game we want to use them as specialists. -open one of the Sabre Teams Delta actor (.atr) files in notepad and C&P everything into one of the .atr files in "Mods\nmm_modv20\Actor\hero". -change the line that says <kitPath> in the .atr file to "<KitPath>delta1</KitPath>" it should now work. it sounds hard, but don't worry. you soon get used to it. and it becomes easier. once you become familiar with the GR file structure and file formats you can combine any thing you want. good luck! Harms
OK, I can't get any woodland Delta skins on NMM 2.2 or the camo weapons. How?
JTF-2
i think the woodland Delta skins only work in IT (they don't work for me in plain GR). i'm not sure there are camo weaps in NMM2...did you see them on the nmm site? cause those aren't released yet. they'll be released with the release of NMM3. sen360
hey for some reason th woodland delta camo i nmm2.2 dosn't work for me either in IT i just get the normal in game specialists, why? Because ten i get the desert camo deltas in GR and DS while the mod is active and nmm2.2 is set at priority
Sgt.Crocodile
Argyll, Can you set up a game , so we can use your mod? Would be great.
sen360
JFT-2 k for some reason the art. file isn't pasting? there's no error it just doesn't paste any thing on and i'm fallowing your directions exactly
JTF-2
i think you might have them marked as "read only". to change this right click on the file and go down to the bottom of the menu and select properties. uncheck the box that says "read only". (if there is any other boxes checked, uncheck them too) then you should be able to do it. if that doesn't work i don't know what could be wrong... anyway, remember that what i wrote about combining mods is kinda like a crash course...just a basic guideline. PS, i e-mailed you back...

Marcinko
Afghanistan, is AFG, you will see me refer to it as AFG and Ghany. An a pakol is a hat, frequently worn by spec ops in Ghany, as seen here..... Delta Pakol
