elLOCOmutha
I cant wait to see the MP side get patched up and TDM etc.. I will definately be buying the next G.R.A.W, Great story. Very challenging tactical gameplay for a thinking person gamer. I dont care what other haters are saying, this game has kicked up FPS to another level. AW Shinobi
I'm still on the fourth mission, I think. Mainly 'cos I'm playing about 500 games at the moment. I love the gameplay though. Good thinking fun. Nice sig-pics, LOCO. =OP Edited July 31, 2006 by AW Shinobi
elLOCOmutha
Thanks Shinobi I havent played hardly any MP GRAW because I usually like to finish the singleplayer game. I just got off from playing for an hour or so. This will take some getting used to. The maps seem so much smaller when you have alot of people running around on them. I enjoyed 15 people max the most in a server. Not many servers with people online either. I hope things will pick up when TDM and HH are released. The spawns with alot of people on a small map are ridiculous. Spawn get sprayed, spawn get sprayed...I notice there is a little spawn protection though. Im peeking around a corner and wham get hit from behind me where someone just spawned lol. I think the multiplayer makes a person become more of a corner camper (which I dont think is a bad thing) and a run and gunner ( kill as many as you can before someone takes you out from a lucky spawn). Camping is part of real war....I would if I was real war, they call it an ambush well I still will enjoy this game even with its multiplayer faults, I cant wait for a patch, HOPE ITS AN AWESOME PATCH GUYS! I wanted to ask if there are any servers/clans/teams out there that anyone could suggest for both DM and the other gameplay style. I am an avid ANTIHack activist and believe everyone deserves a fair and balanced playing field. Hackers/Cheaters ruin gaming, in more ways than one. Well that being said anyone suggest any for me, I would greatly appreciate it..thank you. Edited July 31, 2006 by elLOCOmutha

Belfast Boy
Admit it, Bulldog is the best mission Nah... my favorite mission is Mayday! Mayday! Night vision and no stupid AI elLOCOmutha... some tips for ya in deathmatch play:- When you spawn always, always, always check your back. Use your 3 second invunerability to clear your immediate area. Movement noise, gun fire, muzzle flash and tracer bullets give away your position. So always watch your back or move position. Listen for the enemy and look for their shadows on the ground. Night vision can be useful on all maps - I have it bound to one of my spare mouse buttons. Learn to move left or right when shooting. This is why some find me hard to kill cause I dont stand still Trying all the weapons is fun. However, if I want to win a round, I always end up going back to a SCAR H/scope/silencer, can't recommend this weapon enough. Also, I find the M8/scope/silencer good, especially on the night map. Though weapon choice is personal preference. Hope that helps. Good luck. Edited July 31, 2006 by Belfast Boy
Hockeystick
Nah... my favorite mission is Mayday! Mayday! Night vision and no stupid AI Actually, that's one of my least favorite missions Without teammates it's more difficult to advance, I feel more vulnerable and if someone start shooting at me it's usualy not much I can do about it Edited July 31, 2006 by Hockeystick

Very challenging tactical gameplay for a thinking person gamer. I dont care what other haters are saying, this game has kicked up FPS to another level. I have to agree with you... I'm on mission 10, 4th objective and I must say it does make you think and is very challenging... When a game like this, tics me off to have to walk away from it, time to time, I know it's good, real good.... Then again a "quick save" would have kept my blood pressure down, of course... lol

I would try a mission fail try again fail, I couldnt stop until I got it done though lol Thats the way a good game is supposed to be challenging. I am kind of disappointed in MP though. Please Grin/Ubi fix MP because this game deserves it to be done right. I noticed in the credits that they thanked the janitor and Ghost Recon.net also lol
EricJ
I liked STRONGPOINT! I like it too but until I figured out how to keep my team alive, I liked it up until you neutralize the checkpoint. I like VIP 2 is down up to the Embassy Mob Scene. It took me nearly 20 times until I figured out how to remap my CrossCom. Mayday! Mayday! I like because you have to only worry about yourself. Bulldog I like alot, as you can use team tactics and they sometimes work. Plus up until you have to save the General, it's just Take Your Time mode. Coup d' etat again you can generally take your time. I mean other than some mission flaws, and generally retarded team AI, I enjoy playing it too. Gotta start playing it on Hard though. Nutlink
You have to respect your janitors. If you don't, they'll play nasty pranks on you. Little things at first, like not filling the soap or TP in the bathroom....followed by "forgetting" to empty your garbage....to the massive build up of turning the plumbing off for the bathrooms without telling the staff right before quitting. Sometimes I miss being a janitor. Seriously though, I loved the GRAW SP. The only thing that bugged the hell out of me was the fuzzy hud in missions like Mayday! Mayday! I mean, unless I'm using the tac map or night vision, why is my vision fuzzy? Do I have special optical implants or something?
RAbbi_74
STRONGPOINT. Favorite mission. Guardrail IX comes in a close second. Nothing too insane, but leaves you a bit of a challenge having to work around those .50's. HEHE, it was just two days ago a buddy showed me a route to bypass having to go in front of the TWO .50's at the resupply drop at the beginning of STRONGPOINT. Prior to that, I had to actually take on both HEAD-ON to get through.AND keep my AI tards (I mean, teammates) alive. Needless to say that THIS is where I learned how the grenade reticle/interface works...
Malleus
Strongpoint was my favorite mission too, with Fierce Resistance as second. Both had relatively large areas where you could move around looking for your targets, without limitations and "go there do that" style linear objectives. I really loved how the lighting worked..in and out of shadows etc.. very realistic.
elLOCOmutha
Instead of making a new post/thread I thought I would just add to this one. Are you able to take screenshots in singleplayer? Nutlink
It saves the image as a .tga (targa) file if I recall correctly. Not sure, but I think it's also saved under your profile instead of the main install directory.

TGA files is a file format that will support images suitable for display on Targa hardware but is supported by many applications on a wide range of platforms. Nutlink
Try using a program called The Gimp. Open it with The Gimp, then just do a "Save As" and you can change the format it saves as. Or you can try this: http://www.etrusoft.com/graphic-converter/ And before I forget, try FRAPS. You can view your FPS, create a video up to 30 seconds, and take screenshots in bmp format. Very handy tool for ANY game (especially video for capturing cheaters on video and showing it publicly).
