Agent Smith 0
I got my 7900 GT KO yesterday. The performance and detail ratio in GRAW is more than words can describe. I'm now running the game on 1280x960, with most of the textures on high (Weapons, Characters, decals, and Props are on high. Everything else is medium. All of the textures are Managed, because I have 2 gigs of RAM.) That's just awe-inspiring. This is my rig I'm using now: Pentium D 2.8 GHz 800 MHz FSB 2 GB PC2-4200 DDR2 eVGA Geforce 7900 GT KO Older rig: Pentium 4 3.06 GHz 533 MHz FSB 1 GB PC-3200 DDR eVGA Geforce 6600 GT On my older rig, I had to run GRAW on 800x600 with only Characters and Weapons on High, just so I can get it running DECENTLY on singleplayer. spotH3D 0
Awesome dude. How much RAM on that Video card?
Low Profile 0
Should be 256 GDDR3 on that card as is the case for all other 7900GT PCIe cards.
ofpcarnage 0
I'm running the game on 1600 x 1200 with everything on High ....I had to alter the renderer settings manually though before starting the game . I was playing on 1920 x 1440 but it did seem to lag a little but hence the drop to 1600 x 1200 =)
Agent Smith 0
Should be 256 GDDR3 on that card as is the case for all other 7900GT PCIe cards. Correct. Auto detection in every other game gave me maxed out details. CoD2 gives me Extra Texture settings by default. Still get around 50 FPS with it running on all maxed out settings (I never use AA if it's above 1280x1024, the jaggies are too small to see) on 1680x1050.
ofpcarnage 0
my Rig is..... Agent Smith 0
Here's another shot. You also need to see GRAW running on my monitor to actually see what detail I'm seeing, which is the ViewSonix VX2025WM 20" widescreen monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16824116381

Rocky 1,224
Isn't it great when you get a new card? I bet you are gleefully running around all you games right now in awe at the high end visuals, great stuff. I am looking at getting that widescreen monitor you have too - I heard it rocks. I bet you are gleefully running around all you games right now in awe at the high end visuals, great stuff. I am looking at getting that widescreen monitor you have too - I heard it rocks. Yeah, it does. I just installed Condemned, and I have all of the eye candy running (Except for Fullscreen FX, I hate ALL post-effects.) with soft shadows on 1600x900 (My native res doesn't get rid of the black bars. ) I have yet to find my match for my 7900 GT. The monitor is sweet.... if you have a great card to go with it. My 6600 GT was dying whenever I tried running HL2 on 1680x1050.
Rocky 1,224
with soft shadows on 1600x900 (My native res doesn't get rid of the black bars. ) This is the only reason I am holding off buying a WS monitor, I need to read up on how games handle WS etc, AFAIK some games have WS capability build in (ie [GR]), but some games don't? What happens with those games that do not - stretched image, black bars...?

What happens with those games that do not - stretched image, black bars...? Condemned was presented in widescreen, so it naturally had black bars in any 4:3 resolution you pick.
